INGREDIENTS:
- 100 g of vermicelli
- 5 dl of milk
- 1 l of water
- 1 lemon peel
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 egg yolks
- 150 g of sugar
- 50 g of butter
- Cinnamon for sprinkling
PREPARATION:
Bring the water to the boil with the sugar, lemon peel, cinnamon stick and sugar. Let it boil for 5 minutes over low heat.
Meanwhile, gently crush the vermicelli strands. Add the vermicelli to the pan and mix everything. Let it cook over medium heat until the vermicelli is soft.
Remove the cinnamon stick and lemon peel. Add the beaten egg yolks, stirring constantly, over low heat, for about a minute.
Pour into bowls or on a platter and let cool.
Once cold, sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
