Preparation time: 30 mins | Oven time: 35 mins | Serves: 4 - 6 people
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 200 g grated almond kernels
- 200 ml of water
- 5 eggs
- 6 egg yolks
- Powdered sugar for sprinkling
PREPARATION:
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a removable bottom tart pan with the puff pastry and prick the bottom with a fork.
Bring a pan with water and sugar to the boil and let it boil for around 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool a little.
Add the almond kernels to the syrup and mix well. Beat the eggs with the yolks.
Add the syrup to the eggs and mix well.
Place the previous preparation in the tart pan and bake for around 35 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown and the dough is firm. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar before serving.
