Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugar. Add the egg white and mix everything. Add the flour and cinnamon. Mix everything until the ingredients come together, the dough should be soft but not sticky.

Form thin, long rolls, fold in half and twist to form fidalguinhos.

Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for around 15 to 20 minutes or until golden.
