Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

  2. In a bowl mix the flour with the sugar. Add the softened butter (not melted) and beat everything with an electric mixer just until the ingredients come together, the dough should be soft, but not sticky.

  3. Make small balls and place on a tray with parchment paper. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 10 minutes. The sand should come out of the oven when it starts to color but is still pale.

  4. Remove from the oven and in a bowl with sugar, sprinkle the cookies while still hot, removing any excess.
