INGREDIENTS:
- 4 apples
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp water
For the syrup:
- 200 ml of water
- 2 lemon peels
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 100 ml port wine
- 100 g of sugar
PREPARATION:
Wash the apples very well and remove the core using a corer. Place a cinnamon stick in each of them, in place of the seed. Place them in the airfryer basket, sprinkle with sugar and drizzle with water in the center of each one. Bake at 180ºC for 45 minutes or until the apples are soft.
For the syrup: place the water, lemon peels, cinnamon stick, port wine and sugar in a saucepan. Involve everything. Bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and let it boil for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, turn it off and set aside.
Arrange the apples on a tray and pour over the sauce and serve.
