Preparation

  1. For the dough: in a bowl add the flour and warm water. Mix all the ingredients well and beat vigorously until a ball of elastic dough forms. Cover the dough and place it in the fridge. Let it rest for 2 hours until it doubles in size.

  2. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

  3. Line a tray with parchment paper or spread with butter and sprinkle with flour.

  4. On a table sprinkled with flour, roll out the dough, cut a rectangle, place a slice of cheese and ham and fold.

  5. Seal the sides and make small cuts.

  6. Place the dough on the tray and brush the surface with egg yolk beaten with a little olive oil.

  7. Bake at 180ºC for around 45 minutes, until golden on the outside and cooked on the inside. Let cool and serve.
