Preparation Time: 20 mins  |  Cooking Time: 30 mins

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg of honey drop figs (cut into 4)
  • 500 g of brown sugar
  • 250 ml of water
  • Juice of 1 lemon

PREPARATION:

Wash the figs well and cut them into quarters.

In a saucepan, place the sugar, figs, water and lemon juice.

Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, until the figs are soft.

Blend the figs a little with a hand blender without completely reducing them to puree.

Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly until it reaches boiling point.

Let it cool and store the candy in sterilized, dry jars.
