INGREDIENTS:

  • 240 ml milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 20 g butter
  • 120 g wheat flour
  • 1 beaten egg

For the Ganache:

  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 200 g milk chocolate (for cooking)

For sprinkling:

  • Sugar and cinnamon to taste

PREPARATION:

Place the milk, sugar, and butter in a saucepan. Once the butter has melted, bring to a boil and reduce the heat. Add the flour, stirring constantly until the flour is slightly cooked and pulls away from the bottom of the pan.

Place the dough in a bowl and continue stirring until it cools slightly.

Lightly beat the egg and add it to the dough. Mix quickly until smooth.

Place the dough in a piping bag fitted with a churro nozzle.

Grease a baking sheet with oil and use scissors to pipe the desired shapes.

Then gently place the churros in hot oil and fry until golden brown (to avoid them being raw, the secret is to put them in hot oil and reduce the heat as soon as you add the churros). Once cooked, place them on a plate lined with paper towels.

Coat the churros in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon and serve with Nutella, ganache, jam, or any other cream of your choice. And it's ready!
