INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 soaked cod fillets
  • 900 g potatoes cut into thin slices
  • oil (q.b.)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 tbsp (tea) pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp (soup) vinegar
  • flour (q.b.) to coat the cod
  • ½ red pepper
  • 150 ml of olive oil
  • Salt and parsley (q.b.)

PREPARATION:

Rinse the soaked cod fillets with plenty of water, remove and dry them with kitchen paper and then with flour.

In a frying pan with hot oil, place the cod fillets and fry until golden. Then transfer the steaks to a serving plate and set aside in the oven to keep them warm.

Wash the potatoes, cut them into thick slices and season with salt. Fry them in hot oil until golden. Remove and reserve.

Meanwhile, prepare the onion, cut the onions and garlic into slices and place in a frying pan with hot olive oil, add the bay leaf, red pepper strips and mix everything. Season with salt, paprika and pepper. Add the chopped parsley and vinegar and let it sauté for 5 minutes. Remove the bay leaf

Place the fries around the cod and cover everything with the onion and drizzle with the sauce. Decorate with black olives and serve hot.
