INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 240 ml of milk
  • 65 g of butter
  • 4 bananas
  • 225 g of sugar
  • 300 g of self-rising flour

PREPARATION:

Grease the bottom of a baking pan lined with parchment paper with the caramel.

Cut the bananas in half. Line the bottom of the pan with the bananas and set aside.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes pale and creamy.

Add the softened butter and mix well. Slowly pour in the milk while continuing to beat.

Preheat the oven to 170ºC(338ºF).

Add the sifted flour and baking powder, and gently fold everything together.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven at 170ºC(338ºF) for about 45 minutes.

Let it cool slightly, then invert onto a serving plate.
