Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

  2. Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding the sugar.

  3. Add the yolks and mix. Add the sifted flour and yeast, the oil, a pinch of salt and mix.

  4. Peel the pears, cut them into pieces and add them to the dough, mixing well.

  5. Pour the previous preparation into it and bake at 180ºC for 45 minutes. Remove, let cool and unmold.

  6. Wash and cut the remaining pear into thin slices.

  7. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar, add the pear slices and serve.
