Preparation

  1. Turn on the oven to 180ºC, grease a tray with butter and sprinkle it with flour and set aside.

  2. Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff.

  3. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar for 5 minutes until a whitish cream forms.

  4. Add the yeast and flour and beat very well.

  5. Then, fold the egg whites into the previous preparation.

  6. Pour into the tray and add the fresh red fruits.

  7. Bake in the oven (preheated to 180 degrees) for around 45 minutes.

  8. Remove from the oven, unmold, let cool, cut into cubes and serve decorated with powdered sugar and red fruit jam.
